Who am I?

Well where do I start? My name is Kathie. love fashion. I can never get enough of it. It’s a love that has grown from watching my mother style her sisters and reading fashion magazines at the age of 5. I think the main reason why I love fashion so much is because I enjoy making myself and everyone around feel great about themselves. Being able to dress well can really make someone feel confident and empowering even. My goals in life is to work in the Fashion industry and get a hands on experience working with designers and buyers. Fashion is no doubt where I see myself comfortable in doing. And in the long run, I hope I could one day start a collection of my own. As of now, I am practicing with my sketchings, building my portfolios, working on my Lookbook and playing with fabrics as a fun hobby.

Aside from fashion, I am a beauty fanatic. I love watching Youtube makeup tutorials done by these talented beauty gurus. It’s amazing how makeup can really enhance and transform someone’s look with just a sweep of eye shadow and a dab of concealer. And when the person look their best, they feel their best and that seems to be my motto with fashion and beauty. My problem and concern with media these days is that a lot of it make fashion and beauty seem like such a superficial thing when I think it should be treated more positively.
